 Review of Lord Hotel , located on Maktoom Street - Deira - Dubai - UAE

 

The Lords Hotel, Dubai is situated in the Deira district, close to the Al-Ghuvair shopping mall and the landmark Clock Tower Roundabout. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is 10 minutes drive away. Take a dip in the roof-top swimming pool or enjoy shopping at the several shopping malls in the vicinity. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable with light tone furnishing.

 

The hotel is located on a small street off the main Maktoom Street in Deira. It is a standard 3 stars hotel

Important things to know about this hotel:

•  Hotel clientele is mainly Indian and other Asian business guys and Russian tourists
• Food is available through one restaurant only. Indian chefs prepare the food, with all the good and bad that that means
• There are no pubs or bars at this hotel
• The hotel is not "girl-friendly" despite the Deira neighberhood
  
• Not recommended at all if you are visiting Jumeirah, DIC/DMC or the Trade Center. Expect heavy traffic at all times of day
• Rates are acceptable. Minibar and Room service are also from the cheapest in Dubai
• There is NO High speed Internet in the rooms or lobby - They only have dial-up in the lobby which is paid !!
