Review of the Grosvenor House
We return from Dubai. After a selection of hotels before we left we
decided to go for 10 nights at the Grosvenor House Hotel Dubai. The
hotel is located about 200 m from the beach on the marina. A free
shuttle (about every 15 minutes) takes you to the hotel Le Royal
Meridien Beach if you want to enjoy the beach. You can enjoy the
beautiful white sand beach and refreshing swimming pool. In this time
of year (August) sea temperature was high we stayed with my friend at
the beautiful swimming pool of the Grosvenor House. The hotel has a
very luxurious. It offers exceptional high quality. Much attention from
customers. In our room we had every day a rose, chocolates, fruit and a
small message from HH SHEIKH MOHAMMED. We have benefited from an
upgrade to an apartment suite located at 38th floor. We took almost
every day a taxi to travel around the many bars and restaurants in
Dubai. We tested the many restaurants of the hotel. the INDEGO, the
Indian restaurant (twice). This restaurant is unique and offers
excellent food and impeccable service in a beautiful setting. We also
have dinner twice at the famous restaurant, the Buddha Bar. The decor
is beautiful, great food and service. You can also enjoy a drink in a
very pleasant with music in the lounge bar of the Buddha Bar. The
service is very fast. Congratulations for the kindness and competence
of staff.
We advise you to book for dinner because there are many. The bar
is soon full. However, you can stand a few moments and wait for a table
at the bar is released. Rhodes Mezzanine restaurant of famous chef Gary
Rhodes star in the Michelin Guide offers dishes spiced with a British
our French. Finally we also tested the restaurant Ottoman (Turkish
traditions).
The breakfasts were fantastic, everything is excellent and a
very impressive choice of dishes. There are many bars in the hotel. We
have taken very often drink at "44" at the 44th floor of the hotel. You
have an exceptional view on the Dubai Marina. Again the service is
impeccable. Note there is no need to rent a car if you want to stay in
Dubai. Taxis are not expensive. Many buildings, but it really is a city
not to be missed. The highest tower in the world is being built in
Dubai, is expected to reach about 705 meters high with 160 floors. It
will host restaurants, shops and all types of recreation. The warm
climate all year round. In conclusion an excellent trip and we will
return without any hesitation as soon as possible. Our hotel choice was
already made to the Grosvenor House. CONGRATULATIONS to all staff.
